My husband and I first stayed two weeks in Sierra Leone, a country in West Africa, small in size, if you compare it with others, but huge in natural resources, compared to others in the region.

After the trip, I shared my travel writings in Spanish (my mother tongue) with friends and family, published them in Medium.com and all of a sudden, I realized that people who don’t read Spanish were not able to enjoy them. So even though this is not a translation of the stories I published in Spanish, I decided that now, English language readers will be able to enjoy the photos with my comments where I try to convey the feelings and thoughts you can experience in faraway countries as different as Sierra Leone and Morocco.

The first series is called “What I Saw and Felt in Sierra Leone,” and it contains photo displays that can be seen in separate publications as follows:

  1. Our Arrival in Sierra Leone
  2. Sierra Leone Is Rich in Minerals. Shouldn’t It Be Wealthy?
  3. I love Salone
  4. After Sierra Leone, It’s Impossible to Remain Indifferent
